Last night, me and my friends Batz, Dette(batz' gf), Jarwin and Ron went to STATIC BAR at TOMAS MORATO, Q.C. to watch a BREAKDANCING COMPETITION. Where some of my dancer friends were part of the battle. We arrived early... The place was nice naman... I even had a small talk with my other friends like Yo, Peter, Bernet, Jp, Ej and others...FYI: they're all dancers! Two of the judges were Greg of POWERBOYS and DUNCAN of SOUTHBORDER.
Some of the celebrities who watched the battle were Brent Javier (who looked really cute!!!), John Ordonio (PBA player), Rudolph (i dont know if he is still with abstract or he's with Streetboys na), the others... Ooops! Sorry, i forgot their names! BUt well, I still wanna mention them! Haha... they were: the other vocalist of Southborder, member of Salbakuta plus other commercial models who are into breakdancing! hehehe... Well, Jhong Hilario of Streetboys arrived very late!!! The show is over! haha... But i still had a chance to say bye bye to him! =D
There were 8 groups who joined the competition. I can name a few:
*Battlecrew
*Breakdancers of Zion
*Flipside -and-
*New School
Hahaha... Dami ba???
Battlecrew and Breakdancers of Zion enters the finals.... So there was a showdown between the two... But good thing was.... My friend's group won the battle! It was the BATTLECREW!!! Well, Maya of X -10 and David "Stretch" Castro are among the members of the group. =)
CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM!!! HOOORRRAAAAYYY!!!!

Whew! Just arrived from Malvar, Batangas. Me and my mom went there last Sunday (Nov.8) to attend my Tita's wake, who died last Nov.4 due to cardiac arrest. She was buried this afternoon @ San Sebastian Cemetery in Malvar, Batangas same with my late father. When I was in Batangas, i felt so nice! B'coz of the fresh air... GOsh! Miss ko ang fresh air! Kakapanibago talga if you're in province! Sobra na kasing polluted dito sa Manila.H ehe ok lang! Super lamig na kc ng simoy ng hangin! Naks! hehehe... =) Eh ako pa! Pinanganak na yata akong kakambal ang electric fan!!! hahahahaha... =D
Kaya naman, despite na pagod kami sa byahe ng mama ko, chika to max na kami with our relatives there. hehehe.. =D Especially si Ate Noemi! Sarap kausap! We stayed at their house. Sarap dun! Lalo na ang food! Pritong isda at bulanglang!!! hehehe...
My aunt from Antipolo also arrived. Atlast! Coz matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita. Plus nung Nov. 1 pa namin usapan na luluwas kami ng Batangas. Eh lagi kaming napopostpone... ;) Kaya finally... Nagkita rin kami! She's with my other 2 cousins namely Ria And Stephanie...
Masaya ako kasi parang nagkaroon kami ulit ng reunion... But the saddest part... Eh kung bakit kung kelan may namatay... Eh parang dun lang ulit nagkikita kita.... =( We did have a reunion before... And being held yearly... Every January 1st... Pero natigil yun when santillan clan had a misunderstanding.... tsk, tsk, tsk...
Anyway, that was before... Time heals all wounds... And in time... Magiging maayos na ulit.

Last night, I was at my bro's shop... Chatting with Joy and Tinee! Batz (bro), turned his pc into a tv thing... Then suddenly, he called me and told me that "Shine, si King... Kumakanta sa MASTER SHOWMAN". At first, i don't believed him! Coz i thought he was just kidding! But his girlfriend Deth assured me that it was really KING! So I ran towards bro's pc... I was surprised when I saw king on Master Showman...shocked NOT in a sense that I don't expect him to guest on the show ('coz what he told us was, it was just a taping for the next weeks' program)...I'm shocked in a sense that, I never thought that he meant what he said and promised last Friday when me and joy went to Party Central...it was very flattering for me and I really appreciate that...
Joy already posted her version of what are the happenings of last Friday's event...It was really been a wonderful night for both of us...or should I say, one of the most memorable event...
We had plans before, but because of some circumstances, we always failed to pursue our plans...We always wanted to be with some of our friends hanging around on king's gig...but it always ended up with just the two of us...
Actually, it's not on my thoughts to be on the gig last Friday, coz I always thought that "there's still next week"...Supposedly, we might be celebrating ate Leng's birthday at Ratski...but joy prompted me, that the October 29 show might be the last performance of King at the Party Central...so we decided to pursue our plan...
For almost a month of preparations...now, here we are again, happy and excited to see king singing live...
It's almost passed 11 when we got there...King is already singing, that's why we hurried up to get inside the venue...we saw king wearing a Halloween suit (a red bat's wings balloon)...he looks so great and looks so happy that night... He gained some weight too! ;)
He didn't recognized us easily coz we stayed at the right side, not too near on the stage...but he welcomed us coz it seems that we're the only ones who came late (late due to heavy traffic)...
And so, we hurriedly picked a piece of tissue paper and wrote down our request for him to sing...suddenly, he asked us to wave our hands for him to see us...though the song was already played on the first set, they played it once again and acknowledge our presence there...heheheh...the song I'm talking about was "INCOMPLETE", which have been my most favorite and I love King's rendition of the song...the song was dedicated to our friends who wanted to be with us that night, but failed to come...We enjoyed the night very much, we love all the songs they played... King also sang "GOT WHAT YOU NEED" which me and my cousin Arriane used to dance before.... hehehe... =P Plus a member of the RUSH BAND was great in doing some creep walk! BIGAY NA BIGAY talaga!!! hehehe... :D
After awhile, we went backstage and look for him...he welcomed us with his gorgeous smile, and introduced us to his mom and his bandmates...
We talked about a lot of things...topics that I never expected to be raised... some are clarifications, some are funny stories and some are based on his experiences and many more...
Joy seemed so quiet that night...she's different of how you expect her to be...she told me that she was so shy and I think she is, coz she never said anything...she just sat there and listen to what we're talking about...while king cracks some jokes...
I told joy that I'm gonna leave her for awhile on the dressing room with king, with his mom and JC...I told her that I'm gonna pay the bills on the counter (but it was just a trick, I just wanted her to experience being with king alone! Hahahaha!)...funny joy was trembling and she don't want me to leave her there...hahahah...King laughs and said "Shine, baka umiyak yan"... and his mom said "Bakit ayaw mong magpaiwan?kumain ka muna ng soup!... hahahahah...Joy replied "Sasama na po ako kay Shine..thank you po!.. babalik na lang kami..(smiling and blushing!)"... How can u imagine us pushing and pulling each other on the doorside of the room... Eh ang laki ang difference namin sa katawan!!! hahaha... :D
Then we listened to Barbie's Cradles' music, they were oh so great, galing nila... The band also played STAY by LISA LOEB...then suddenly, King's mom told me that we're about to leave...
Before we left, something funny happened to me...hahahah...Myra bombarded joy with text messages asking of what's happening there...Joy asked me to reply on myra's message, for she's looking for something in her bag...I was walking while texting...suddenly I slipped, I never thought it would happen...I stopped for awhile then Joy asked me if I'm okay? And I said "Grabe un girl ha, Masakit!"...Joy thought I was just picking something on the floor, she never thought I'd slipped...hahahaha! Then I told her "Kaya ko 'to girl"... I slowly stand-up and a carry-on with my poise (siyempre para hindi halata..hahaha!)...but some of the crew noticed that...they smiled at us while we're walking, saying "Thank you maam, come again!"...Joy laughingly said:"Okay lang siya, 4 bottles of strong ice lang naman ang inubos niya!hahahah!... and I said: "Kaya niyo un?"...hahahahh...(pero sa totoo lang... nahilo talaga ako sa nainom ko! hahahaha)...
It's been a great night for me...we went home with smile in our face and in our hearts... though I hurt myself of what happened...another experience and a memory to cherish... we didn't bring cameras for a change...but that was the night that's full of memories and enjoyment...Hope u guys might be with us next time...
